The standard needs
Always when invoking spirits there are certain terms which the magician requires from the spirit being summoned. Although each invocation should be unique there are some parts that always needs to be included and this is an attempt to list those requirements in a poetic manner. These bits and pieces can be combined and used in all forms in invocation.
Commanding the spirit inside yourself
Come forth and rise within,
in this vessel without sin.
With the striking of this bell,
I summon thee into this shell.
(bell) (intone the name of the entity)
Obey the commands given
Spirit of light! Hear my command.
Spirit of light! Meet my demand.
Present clear and understandable visions
Bring me the sight perfectly aligned,
bring visions of splendor into my mind.
Bring the wisdom of the ancients sages,
make my mind the greatest of mages.
